This place is so peaceful. The location is pretty gorgeous, and the view of the rice field made me forget that I was less than 10min walk close to town center. The hosts are super welcoming and have the kindness Sri Lankans are known for, their smiles is the best welcoming language. I didn’t expect a welcoming drink but I had one delivered to my room 🥹 and so many good advices from Shimila about visits in town. I highly recommend to have breakfast here, generous portions, local food and drinks, and again : the view on the rice fields. 😍 Rooms are more than comfortable, air co, good mattress, clean bathroom

The room was very clean and comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious and tasty. The location is very convenient and peaceful. It takes only a few minutes to reach the city. The surroundings are beautiful and relaxing. Overall, we had a wonderful and enjoyable stay!

“Schlichte Unterkunft mit wunderbaren Gastgebern in ruhiger Lage am Reisfeld.”

Ruhige Lage in der Natur mit Blick auf das Reisfeld. Schon beim Frühstück kann man diverse exotische Vögel beobachten. Zweckmäßige Zimmer. Sehr gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Die Gastgeber sind sehr zuvorkommend und liebenswert. Sie haben uns jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Sie kochen großartig und sehr günstig lokale Spezialitäten. Die Safari, die sie uns vermittelt haben war super. Keine Moskitonetze

“Nice stay good price but dirtier than expected”

The staff were genuinely helpful, taking care of our laundry and arranging the safari, which turned out to be an amazing guide and experience that we wholeheartedly recommend. The meals were delicious and the staff were very friendly. The hotel isn’t too far away, but you’ll need a tuk‑tuk to get around. It was lovely to have breakfast or dinner while gazing at the rice fields. The room had AC, but there were no sheets—just a thin scarf or blanket—so remember that. The only downside was that the room was dirtier than we expected; we found many ants, cockroaches, and spiderwebs by the bed, and it was uncomfortable to discover a dead cockroach under the bed at night and another alive in the toilet.
