Senja Hotell

The rooms were huge, well-equipped, and spotless. The hotel’s location is very convenient for onward travel to Senja and the Lofoten. Free parking is available. However, we never saw any staff during our stay; check‑in was done with a keypad code, and at breakfast someone seemed to be in the kitchen but was not present in the dining area. It was fine for one night, but when we checked out we simply left the key at the reception, so everything felt very impersonal. The room facing the street was noisy because cars were revving under the windows, causing the glass to vibrate.

It was okay. The bathroom is great. We didn’t like the location and it isn’t ideal. It sits right on a main road with a view of a shopping centre.

I think the staff are incredibly friendly. They care about the guests, make sure we’re comfortable, and go the extra mile to create a pleasant experience and give us what we need. Everything feels much more personal. I also liked the breakfast room a lot – very cozy! The food was varied, tasty, and well presented. The rooms have a more personal touch compared to other hotels.

Breakfast was good. The room standard was good. The reception was closed before 19:00.
