I’ve been traveling the east coast of QLD many times, usually staying in Mackay, which is overpriced and unclean; A & A surprised me with its cleanliness and comfort for a one‑night stop, and the staff were excellent and friendly.

“Basic but clean.”

We didn't eat there because the restaurant was closed, and the bathroom was a nightmare—the shower curtain didn't reach the floor, so water splashed all over the floor, making it extremely slippery and unsafe.

“For filled my need to be close to airport to collect daughter”

The room was clean and I was greeted by a ‘swan’ perched on my bed, but it was on Bruce Highway and the noise was loud most of the night.
