It’s a simple but nice and budget‑friendly place near Mestia. If you’re not expecting a private bathroom and a luxury bed, you’ll like it. The owner even gave us a watermelon as a welcome gift :). The only downside is that it’s about a 40‑minute walk to the center of Mestia.

The host family was very friendly, and the lady was ready to prepare breakfast early in the morning when we needed it. The breakfast was absolutely luxurious, the best we had during our two‑week trip through Svaneti. In the evening we got a glass of excellent red wine for free. A kitchenette with tea and coffee was available. In the bathroom there was a towel rack to wipe water from the shower, a super handy tool when you need to go to the toilet.

They rent rooms on the second floor of a private house. It’s clean and cozy. The host offered wine. One room was quiet and peaceful, and we slept well.

The welcome was fantastic, and the locals gave great advice on which roads to take. They were so kind they even invited us to a family reunion dinner. It was very, very nice! The stay was beautiful!
