Everything was spot on, and the only thing that could use a tweak is adding breakfast 🥞.

The space was great, but I did run into ants in the room.

Wow, what a pleasant surprise—booking was a breeze, the unit was gorgeous and spotless, and I’m definitely coming back.

My room was roomy, comfy, and nicely decorated; I liked the fruit, rusks, and tea that were waiting since I arrived later than planned on the first night. Hanging cupboards and drawers were handy, and the location is perfect if you want to stay away from downtown Stellenbosch. 1) Even though the walk‑in shower was spacious, water still splashed out; a towel mat would have helped dry the floor—I used a hand towel, but the cleaning ladies didn’t seem to notice. 2) One of the dogs barked nonstop from about 06:00; I texted the host at 06:30 and she sent someone to deal with the dog soon after. 3) Neither bedside lamp worked at first; once I checked the plugs, they were fine.
