“Tolles Familienerlebnis”
The landlord was very nice, and after a short orientation we could already set off. In the evening we dropped two anchor rods into the lake bed and secured a great spot just for ourselves. The beds are surprisingly comfortable. A gas stove, heating, and fridge are included, and a grill is available on request. Electricity is scarce, so for a group of four we had to rely on power banks or solar panels to charge our smartphones and tablets, which were plenty of photo opportunities. On the boat there’s only one USB port, and 220 V is only available at the harbor if you plug into the land power. If you want to swim, just stand and jump in. Overall it was a very nice experience on the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte.
