The village itself is pretty quiet and doesn’t offer much in the way of activities, but the cycling routes are fantastic and Maastricht is only a short bike ride away.
The pool turned out to be a real lifesaver during that 34 °C heat wave.
Breakfast covered everything—from fruit‑topped yogurt to an array of breads, cheeses and cold cuts—so there was never a dull bite.

“Fantastisch ingerichte kamer met veel authentieke elementen. Zeer aardige gastvrouw die er alles aandoet om het de gaste”
The place felt genuinely authentic, with cozy sitting spots, a pool and jacuzzi, and the host was really friendly. The village itself is pretty quiet and doesn’t offer much in the way of activities, but the cycling routes are fantastic and Maastricht is only a short bike ride away.
“Fijn en gezellig verblijf, vriendelijke host!”
The welcome was warm and the hospitality felt genuine; I couldn’t think of anything that needed improvement.
“On arrival I was met by the attractive Clementine and every time I needed anything she was there. It was so relaxing”
Clementine was super attentive, always greeting us with a smile and handling any issue without fuss. I tried to upload a few videos of the stay but ran into trouble—sorry, Clementine, hope to be back soon.
“Heerlijk weekendje weg, net over de grens!”
Clementine runs the whole thing herself and she’s incredibly welcoming—walking in felt instantly safe and the breakfast was outstanding. The spot itself is gorgeous, and I didn’t waste any time telling friends about it.
The spot sits just a half‑hour bike ride from Maastricht yet stays peaceful, and the host made us feel right at home. Breakfast covered everything—from fruit‑topped yogurt to an array of breads, cheeses and cold cuts—so there was never a dull bite.
