If paradise on earth exists, it isn’t far from here; 10 points are far too few—I’d give 100. The cottages look even better in person than in the photos. There’s a quiet, well‑working air‑conditioner and warm water in the bath. Marlin and the fun kitchen crew make the stay as pleasant as possible and happily organize group excursions with other tourists to save costs. The food is delicious, especially the fresh seaweed with coconut. Three kilometres of powder‑sugar sand lie outside the door, and every evening there’s a panoramic sunset. I’ll have to return to this place. The only downside is that Lionair cancelled my outbound flight, causing me to lose a day.

“Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft”

Located directly on the beautiful Pasir Panjang, I stayed in the balcony room, which offered a fantastic view. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, as was the rest of the staff.

The location is amazing, right on one of the world’s most beautiful beaches. The staff are great, very helpful, and organize nice trips. The rooms aren’t luxurious, but they’re fine with nice beds, and the small pool in front of the room is a nice touch. There aren’t many options for dinner, so I recommend the nearby Warung that serves very good soto, sate ayam, and fish. You can also ask the owners to arrange food, which was very tasty.

“Great staff, great location, nice dipping pool”

The staff were very friendly and ready to help as much as possible. The room is a bit small, but it’s enough for two people. The dipping pool is a nice extra, especially with kids. Breakfast is okay, though it’s only ready later than the time you ordered it. The cottage doesn’t have a public restaurant, but they cooked for us as we ordered, and it was delicious and reasonably priced. The surroundings are beautiful, and the beach has real powdery sand. There are some small shops and restaurants nearby, but choices are limited. There was no good place to sit or lie down on a sunbed in the shade, so it was quite hot at the accommodation. The wind came from the wrong direction, so it might be better in another season.
