“Quiet convenient location, very large comfortable & clean apartment, beautiful countryside views 5/5”

I have stayed before, it's a beautiful Location, quiet but convenient for nearby towns i.e. Saffron Walden, Bishops Stortford etc, also near Newport where there is a very well stocked grocery shop to pick up any food shopping needed Lovely clean huge room, three skylight windows so light and airy, lovely views Wonderful huge private bathroom Very comfortable king size bed Great facilities, kettle, toaster, fridge with small freezer compartment & good selection of cutlery & cooking utensils etc Ample room for secure parking. Christine & Andy as always, were very welcoming friendly hosts & great to see the dogs Treacle & Murphy again ! I've already booked another visit ! 5*****. N/A

“Great Host, beautiful area, peaceful location 😊”

The spot was perfect—quiet and serene, giving me great sleep each night. The shower worked well and the towels were soft, plus Christine, our host, was incredibly helpful. A tiny magnifying mirror was handy for makeup, and there was a small torch in the drawer next to the bed. I’d rate it 10/10 and would definitely book here again. The only downside was the way it was left when we checked out.

The rooms were beautiful and roomy, with tasteful décor and furniture, and the beds were comfortable. The rural setting was quiet and peaceful.

From the moment I arrived, it felt like I’d been there before. The place was easy to find, and the hosts provided plenty of local information on the sheets; if I needed more directions, they were amazing. Christine knows all the local pubs—very useful, not at all bad, lol. I’d highly recommend staying here if you’re ever in this area.
