The hotel was quaint and welcoming, easy to find and centrally located, with all shops and eateries within walking distance.

The location was excellent—very close to the old town and surprisingly quiet day and night. The staff were friendly and helpful. Remember you must leave your key at reception every time you go out. There was no hairdryer in the room, which I had assumed was standard in hotels; fortunately, many were available to borrow at reception. On the downside, there was no fridge in the room, which wasn’t mentioned in the description, so that was my oversight. The shower was a bit odd: the showerhead was about 1.40 metres high, so you couldn’t stand under it properly, which was quite inconvenient.
