“Beautiful historic home, warm and friendly family hosts, delicious food!”
Our host welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home; the 1800‑s‑old house had character, beautiful furnishings, and was very clean. We stayed in the “Primrose” room, slept soundly on the comfy bed, and enjoyed a soak in the large slipper tub. The front porch was lovely (we ordered pizza from a nearby restaurant), the gardens were charming, and the fireflies were magical. Breakfasts were amazing, the location was close to downtown yet quiet, and overall it was a wonderful stay that we would definitely return to. The only disappointment was that the Manor didn’t feel haunted at all, even though its age and history suggested it might, but the fireflies were still enchanting.
