We loved it

We really enjoyed our stay: the safari tent was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, with everything we needed. The views were amazing, the town was beautiful, and we didn’t realize there was a festival, so we had a great time—thank you so much. We’ll definitely book again ❤️. The only issue was the tap water kept turning on and off, especially in the morning, and it was difficult at night to use the outside toilet because I have mobility issues, a stoma, and needed a sink next to the toilet. Everything else was great 👍.

Lovely site with an authentic style tent, but the outside toilet had a lot of cobwebs.

The location was brilliant, close to Badmouth, and the campsite was really nice. The hot tub was the best—it was easy to start with a wood burner fire and it was private. The heating provisions weren’t adequate; one small electric heater didn’t warm the whole tent. We were bundled in several layers, and the host’s message suggesting extra blankets only arrived on the day we got there, after we had already left home. There were two hot water bottles for four people. Adding blankets or a better heating source would have been quick, cheap, and easy. The gas bottle was practically empty when we arrived, but the host swapped it out quickly, so no big issues, except the hot water was still not hot—likely a problem with the connection between the bottle and the tap.
