Breakfast was a poor value for money, and a good establishment would provide breakfast for guests. The bathroom needs better cleaning, the staff seem poorly trained in proper customer service, and after paying a lot for the room, why would an establishment charge for parking?

The place was clean and the shower had great water pressure, but the GM was extremely rude and the pool area smelled like natural gas. We had to pay for parking plus a parking tax, and the Bistro only opened in the morning because of staff shortages, so breakfast was an extra cost. Water wasn’t free either; we had to pay for it.

The breakfast was too pricey – at $477.00 a night you’d expect a continental spread or at least free coffee. Charging for parking while you charge $1300.00 for a 3‑night stay is ridiculous. The bedside outlets didn’t work, the TV remote was faulty and the staff said they replaced the batteries but it still didn’t work. The hotel didn’t justify the $1300.00, and I’ll never stay at another Courtyard by Marriott again.

The location was out of the hustle and bustle of downtown but still within walking distance of good restaurants and stores. It cost a lot and the layout of the room wasn’t ideal; the TV being on the side of the bed kind of behind the closet wasn’t good for viewing.
