I booked the Jungle Suite at Hotel Bambu and it felt like I was truly in nature, incredibly comfortable. The room was spotless and the bed and sheets were the comfiest I’ve had in a long time. Shower water was just the right temperature and housekeeping cleaned as often as I asked. The food was great, with a wide menu that allowed for tweaks and additions. Staff were very friendly, checking in on me and being attentive. The owner even offered an upgrade if I wanted it. The lake view is stunning. When I needed to travel by lancha to other towns, they arranged a tuk tuk to the public dock and explained the boat schedules and fares. I highly recommend this place for a peaceful, relaxing retreat with genuine care and hospitality. Thanks to everyone for a wonderful stay.

The location by Lake Atitlán is beautiful, the grounds have lovely flowers and cute animals, the staff are very kind, and the food and jacuzzi are lovely too! I’d go back in a heartbeat.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. It’s super well‑situated with a lush garden, a spectacular view of the volcanoes and Lake Atitlán. The staff are simply amazing and attentive to guests, anticipating needs and responding perfectly. Discretion is also truly appreciated. I fell in love with Hotel Bambu and thank you again for the exceptional service!
