The kitchen was available with a fridge, stove, kettle, dishes, and pots, and a bottle of wine was offered on arrival. The room, kitchen, and bathroom were overwhelmed by a huge tobacco smoke smell that couldn’t be ventilated, and the curtains and drapes also emitted a strong odor.

The owner was very kind and helpful, accommodated everything we needed, and even gave us a small bottle of wine as a gesture.

The location was excellent in a quiet area and the station was easily accessible. There was a large shelter for seating, and the host was pleasant.

The location was superb, everything within reach – the train, the small train to Štrbské Pleso, the cabin, the petrol station, and most importantly the starting point for Tatra hiking routes to Kriváň, Rysy, Kôprovský štít and others; the kitchen was well equipped, clean, and the owner was pleasant, greeting us with wine on the table – I’d gladly return in the future. Everything met my expectations, nothing that warranted special mention that I wasn’t already informed about.
