Unfortunately, my experience at this surf camp was marred by several issues. While the location was great, the food was mediocre, and I was forced to pay an exorbitant amount for a boat transfer to visit other surf spots. The staff member I dealt with, Hanra, was dishonest and tried to take advantage of me. He offered me an expensive transfer package and booked me into a terrible hotel in Padang, claiming I had to pay a surf tax that I didn't actually need to pay.

I stayed at this hostel and found it to be a very basic accommodation. If you're looking for a simple place to sleep and eat, it might be suitable for you. However, the online representation of the hostel was misleading, with false images of the rooms and exterior. I was initially given a room under the roof, which was essentially a mat on a dirty floor with a mosquito net and a small closet. The "amenities" included a lot of clutter.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed with its cleanliness and fantastic location for surfers. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced compared to other nearby properties. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great surf experience.
