I brought my three kids for a family trip and they were grateful that we were assigned the farthest room in the spacious Japanese-style room. Even though the facility is old, the cleaning was meticulous, leaving the place spotless and comfortable. I wondered if the water was clean because the tea I brewed in the room’s pot and the coffee at breakfast were both delicious. The hot springs were simple, but after a soak my skin felt silky smooth. Every time a new towel was provided—two per person—was a nice touch. The lockers were key‑locked and plentiful, which was convenient. The playroom was reservation‑based, costing 1000 yen for an hour; while the kids sang karaoke, they played video games, and the little ones enjoyed “Gragura Game” and “Kurohige Kikai Ichihatsu.” Dinner was a plated course with a menu list and beautiful presentation, and it was incredibly tasty. We had requested a kid‑friendly steak beforehand, and on the day a luxurious steak, suitable even for adults, was served one per child. It was tender, and the kids—who don’t usually eat much meat—laughed with delight. After the meal, the staff kindly played with the restless youngest child. We, the parents, could savor a leisurely dinner after years of traveling. Afterward, the futons were neatly laid out for the number of kids, which moved me deeply. The children said they wanted to live here! I definitely want to return.
