The location is good, but our stay at this hotel was a very disappointing and stressful experience. The hotel seemed to be in a state that required major renovation, with visible cracks, stains, and a generally neglected appearance everywhere. Even our balcony door wouldn’t close properly. The first night was barely acceptable, but the next two nights were a disaster. On the second night, a loud party made it impossible to sleep until about 23:30. The last night was the absolute worst: on the balcony directly below our room, loud music blasted from a big speaker until 3:30 am. No sleep was possible. We tried to get help at the reception, but the whole hotel seemed empty at that hour—no one was reachable. We had to try to resolve the situation ourselves. The guests involved were heavily intoxicated, the room smelled of alcohol and smoke, and we felt very uncomfortable by their behavior and reactions. Only after we called the manager did anyone attempt to intervene. The tourist police were also called, but we didn’t feel our situation was taken seriously. My wife had a panic attack because of the whole ordeal. A place where guests can’t get help at night and don’t feel safe is unacceptable for us. We practically couldn’t use the last night and had to cut the stay short. This hotel failed to meet basic expectations of quiet, safety, and relaxation. We cannot recommend it—especially not to families with children or travelers seeking a peaceful, restorative stay. Anyone who wants to sleep at night should think very carefully about whether this hotel is the right choice.
