The room was spotless and the bed was fantastic; receiving a hand‑made fan from the staff as a surprise for the Gujo Odori was delightful. There’s nothing wrong with the facilities, but the venue in Gujo Hachiman is a bit far, so you’ll need to travel by car.

There’s a modest shared kitchen and a lobby you can use freely, and the room, while not huge, is laid out sensibly. The only downside is that the room feels a little cramped.

The bed was among the most comfortable I've ever slept on, with lovely bedding and perfect pillows. The rooms were a good size and spotless. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Nothing to dislike; we hired a car, so getting to Gujo was easy at 15‑20 minutes, though I’m not sure about the taxis.

The staff were friendly, yet the shampoo and conditioner were poor quality and the toilet had mold on the shower head.
