“Maravillosa”
The rooms were sharp, everything was great, maybe they could put water in the room, but that's how they usually run it.

Relais La Corte di Cloris sits in a tranquil residential quarter, a five‑minute stroll from Piazza della Libertà. The garden terrace offers deckchairs overlooking Tuscan gardens. Rooms blend traditional Tuscan wood‑beamed ceilings with terracotta floors or romantic parquet and frescoed ceilings, all air‑conditioned, flat‑screen TV, free Wi‑Fi, and en‑suite toiletries. A 24‑hour honesty bar serves snacks and drinks.

Central location, equipment and building are sensational, everything is top.

The building is very quiet with tiny apartments, the garden is comfortable. The cleaning left something to be desired: the floor wasn’t washed, the shower was faulty and the liquid soap ran out, the kitchen sink leaked. The cleaning fee for the kitchen was absurd, 15 euros a day.

The room was clean, spacious, with a garden view and a sofa. The reception was missing in the afternoon.

It was perfect for our needs and great value. There was plenty of space and a lovely balcony. The walk from the train station was okay for us, though some might prefer a bus or tram. Sitting on the balcony at night and hearing the tawny owls in the garden was brilliant. We didn’t pay for a wildlife experience but we got one for free! The Italian midges were friendly enough to come say hello on the balcony. I’m in Lucca now writing this review and the midges are friendly here too, so we can’t blame Cloris!
