“Transferred rooms 3 times due to cleanliness, security & comfort issues, so I had to cancel my stay.”

The place in Poblacion, Makati was convenient for my appointments and the manager and front‑desk staff were accommodating. However, the cleanliness, security, comfort and overall value were disappointing. I was moved through three rooms, each with serious problems: mosquitoes, bad smell, a broken door lock, poor cooling, and mold in the fridge. The second room’s lock was visibly faulty, raising security concerns. Maintenance was let down, telling me no one would open my room and that it was “safe” instead of fixing the lock. These issues forced me to cancel.

The location was great, close to restaurants, a karinderya, 7‑11 and other spots, and easy to get around with Grab or green GSM. The reception area was clean, comfortable, and had a calming scent, with ambient music in the lobby. The receptionist—name unknown—was professional and helpful, though I’d liked more proactive info like other hotels sometimes provide. The elevator worked fine, sheets were clean, and the rain shower was the best—relaxing, easy to heat and cool, with nice liquid soaps and a pleasant scent. Free water refills in the lobby were a big help. The bidet had good pressure that starts gently and ramps up, and the sink was very useful. There were plenty of electrical outlets, more than you’d find in a 3‑4 star place. The entrance had water dripping from the air‑conditioners, and the stairs were wet and unsafe for elderly guests. Towels weren’t automatically in the room; I had to call for them. The bathroom rug was missing and needed another call. The shower area was narrow, so taller men couldn’t fit comfortably and bumped their elbows and arms. Reaching the bidet shower was difficult, especially for older people, large‑built guests, or those with lower‑back pain. The keycard didn’t control the lights or door; they gave us traditional keys instead, but it was still safe overall.

The unit was very clean, the staff were kind and approachable, and the hotel was excellent.

The staff were very friendly and had everything needed for a one‑night stay. There were a few stains on the sheets and towels.
