“Not worth it.”
I would never give this hotel a 5. When we arrived, the downstairs bathrooms were absolutely disgusting—stank and were incredibly filthy. It took almost half an hour for our luggage to reach our room, which was too slow. There are no refillable water bottles in the room, so you have to pay for water, which is absurd; modern five‑star hotels provide free water or a bottle that can be refilled at a fountain on the floor. Our bathroom was dirty; the shower was covered in thick, black mould that I could scrape off with my nail, all around the door. The body wash and conditioner were completely empty, indicating the staff don't check or clean thoroughly. The toiletries used on the first night were not refilled for the second night. The breakfast buffet staff were hit or miss—some pleasant, some outright rude. There is a boat shuttle that charges per person to take you to the main part of the city; although it arrived on time, it’s a hassle and you’re a bit out of pocket if you forget something. We heard a lot of noise in our room late at night from trolleys being pushed outside the restaurant, I’m guessing. I would not return.
