“Go experience it but be prepared to work for it!”
The view of Mt. Etna was breathtaking, and the setting itself was absolutely stunning; having breakfast while overlooking that gorgeous coastline was unforgettable. The staff were very kind, welcoming, and helpful. The only hiccup was that getting around was tough because the place is steep—lots of uphill, steps, hairpin turns, and tight manoeuvres left us exhausted!
“Panorama fantastique et promenades agréables”
The location is good. The stairs are a drawback.
“Vue incroyable !!!!!”
The view from the rooms is stunning, and the breakfast terrace offers an incredible panorama. The hotel itself feels typical, but the staff are adorable and all very friendly. The parking, however, relies entirely on the staff to guard your vehicle because the lot is really tiny and inconvenient, yet that’s acceptable. It’s not far from the historic center, just a short walk of about 15/20 minutes and a few stairs up. The breakfast is varied and very good. Overall, it was great.
traumhafte Lage mit herrlichem Ausblick auf Meer und Ätna, super Ausgangspunkt für Stadt und Baden
“Hotell hvor opplevelser er inkludert”
Location, view, cleanliness, comfort, an excellent breakfast, an unusually lovely atmosphere, and the hotel’s charm. The hotel doesn’t just sell rooms with breakfast; it’s a whole experience: from the moment the staff park your car for you, to carrying your luggage to the room, you step into a place that feels like the “Agatha Christie” era. Here you can recharge batteries the old‑fashioned way, dine in the lounge or on the terrace, read books, play chess, or sunbathe in a beautiful garden. The hotel is within walking distance of several restaurants and other activities (note: count the stairs if you want to avoid driving). The staff serving breakfast do their best to give every guest unforgettable positive memories. Nothing negative. I would have liked a few more days to enjoy the hotel.
