The reception was excellent and the chalet was great. August is peak season, the park was busy and yet after 19:00 we couldn’t get into the restaurant, which was frustrating after a tiring day on the TT‑circuit when we just wanted to shower and have a meal; the only option left was to order a fries/snack to take away.

The location was great, but the parking was a nightmare for Truckstar customers – they just don’t fit in that lot.

The spacious, cozy house was lovely, and the park’s peace and natural beauty were a treat. Unfortunately, the directions led us onto a dead‑end lane and there was no sign telling us how to reach the premises.

The holiday park was very peaceful and offered a variety of house styles. Our chalet had just been refurbished and looked stylish, and the area was perfect for walking and cycling. However, basic items like tea towels, hand soap, salt & pepper, or an extra roll of toilet paper were missing. That’s annoying when you arrive from abroad by plane. We got there after reception had closed, so we couldn’t pick up towels. The price doesn’t match this very lean level of service.
