I liked the location. The exterior was aging, the spa wasn’t fully renovated, and the rooms felt cold.

The staff were extremely friendly, breakfast was excellent, and the property had character. A bit more maintenance would be nice.

The breakfast and dinner on the first evening were really bad and tasteless, but thanks to the waiter knowing the situation, I was able to have them removed from my bill. The hotel feels like a haunted place—no one around, dark, dusty, and very old in atmosphere and design.

The hotel is very old but offers top services (spa, massages, and thermal pools), though the rooms are very plain. No particular issues.

The property was welcoming, the breakfast was excellent, and the location was good for visiting Val d’Orcia. Great value for money, the spa service was very good, and we’ll return! The rooms were a bit dated.
