The location is great, but some staff members are quite rude and give zero attention to customers with special diets, like gluten‑free guests. The rooms aren’t as nice as they seem; they’re old. The kitchen is poorly organized, and the food is dry and reheated during service.
The proximity to the city centre and the lovely exterior are positives. The bathroom had a shower with broken tiles on the floor and a large damp stain on the wall, and the staff in the lounge moved between tables in a rather unwelcoming way.
The kitchen was very good, so I can’t understand the negative reviews about it. We always ate wonderfully, with a great selection of appetizers on the buffet and menu.
Overall, nothing remarkable about the property, but it depends on what a guest is looking for. If you’re not after anything fancy and just want a pleasant seaside holiday, I recommend it. The beach is only 5 minutes away. In general, the environment is livable and adequately clean. The buffet could use a little improvement: some items weren’t replenished, and many hungry, punctual guests would grab the popular dishes like mini pizzas and cold cuts. I didn’t see any flatbreads, and when the bread or crackers were missing, you had to ask for them.
