We spent March 1-6 at Hotel Resort Inn Niseko and it was a solid choice for a quiet getaway, even though the ski slopes are a 15‑20 minute drive away. The inn’s small size—just 7 rooms and a chalet—gave it a cozy, home‑like vibe and kept us far from the usual ski‑resort crowds. After a day on the snow, the private two‑person onsen on the property was a real treat. Breakfast was consistently good, with a fresh selection each day; the eggs, cakes, and pastries were highlights, and every Tuesday the complimentary cakes, pastries, and apple crumble pie with ice cream were a sweet bonus. A dry room for storing ski gear was handy, and the view of Mount Yotei from our room was beautiful. Service was excellent and everything we needed was provided. The only downside was the mattress, which felt too soft for our preference for firmness. The location isn’t the most convenient; renting a car is advisable, though the inn does offer free shuttle to Annupuri and Niseko Village and free on‑site parking. When we dined in the HIRAFU area, we had to pay for taxis, which added up, but the inn’s shuttle covered the Annupuri and Niseko Village restaurants.

Peaceful location. Staff were attentive, hot tub was amazing. Fresh cakes twice a week was a nice touch. Ran out of tea bags on day 1

Parking space is ample and the scenery is lovely, but the room is so tiny you can’t even spread your luggage out.

Das japanische Zimmer ist sehr schön, aber nicht ganz so groß. Man kann die Klimaanlage nicht ausschalten und sie ist enorm laut
