I stayed in the female dorm at Rivendell and honestly had some of the best sleep I’ve had in a hostel in Miraflores; it’s much quieter and more relaxed than many other hostels in the area, and the location is convenient for exploring Miraflores craft shops or doing last‑minute shopping, since they’re just a couple of blocks away.

Nice part of Miraflores, good for a single night with a late arrival and early departure, but the bathrooms were filthy, there were odd notices on the walls telling people not to spit on the floor or walls, and a damp smell lingered in the bedroom.

Well located, 10/15 minutes on foot from the center of Miraflores, but the rooms weren’t very clean and there was no locker to safely store belongings during the day.
