The interior of the building is quirky, which I liked, and the room itself was nice. I chose to have breakfast there, which was delicious, and the ladies serving were amazing—so friendly and cheerful, an absolute pleasure. The bed was VERY firm, and because I was at the front of the building I was woken by traffic at 5.30am, which is not the hotel's fault.

The location is good and the staff are friendly. The room could use a refresh: the bathroom looks tired and the bath is chipped in a few places.

The room was large and well maintained, and the hotel bar was very nicely decorated. Having breakfast included in the price was a bonus.

I was given a pleasant welcome, but the reception area was untidy, there was no hot water in the morning or evening, and kitchen facilities were not available.
