“Surprise, there's a kitchen”
The spot is conveniently near the railway station, and what wasn’t mentioned in the listing is a shared kitchen with an induction cooktop and other amenities. The bathroom plumbing was under renovation and the water pump made a horrible noise.
The location was good. The bed was stuck with tape, the bathroom had a hole in the wall, the tent was used as a box and water could leak out, the coffee machine didn’t work at all, and overall it was not very welcoming.

La posizione è eccellente: davanti alla stazione, a due passi dal porto da cui partono tutti i traghetti per la costiera amalfitana, a due passi dal lungomare e proprio all'inizio del corso centrale. È in un palazzo storico fornito di ascensore; la struttura è stata rinnovata di recente ma i pavimenti antichi sono stati mantenuti nelle camere e nella cucina (molto belli, bravi!). Lo staff è disponibile, preciso e cordiale. Non vuole essere una critica ma vista la potenzialità della struttura è un peccato vedere la mancanza di cura dei dettagli. Ad esempio: assenza delle griglie dell' aria condizionata in tutta la struttura; mobilia della camera trascurata (bordo del letto spezzato, cornice armadio che si stacca); impianto idraulico rumoroso (fastidioso soprattutto durante le ore notturne); assenza di un portasapone/ dispenser nella doccia; cucina fornita di una bella macchina del caffè espresso ma assenza delle capsule per farlo. Basterebbe davvero poco per far diventare questo b&b top!!!

The location was close to the train station, though finding it was a bit tricky at first. It’s a short walk to the sea and restaurants, making it a great stop after our long flights to Sicily. On arrival the online link to access the property didn’t work and I couldn’t reach the host, but we eventually sorted it out. The shower screen was unusable and the shower drain was broken.
The place was close to the station and communication was punctual. The start‑up noise from the autoclave was too loud, especially at night.
