The place is tucked away in the woods, which made it perfect for our small crew to kick back and breathe the mountain air. It isn’t a sleek, modern hotel – the lack of contemporary finishes is exactly why the house feels so charming. If you’re after a polished resort you’ll be disappointed, but for a rustic retreat it hits the spot.

We stopped here on the drive back from Italy and loved the location; the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook our own meals. The host sent a few handy tips through the app, and we spent two pleasant nights without any real issues. Nothing major stood in the way of a good stay.

The house offered plenty of space – we had the whole place to ourselves, which worked great for six adults. Unfortunately the beds were surprisingly hard, making it a bit uncomfortable after a long day. Overall, the layout was spot on, just wish the mattresses were softer.

From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly, the rooms were spotless and the beds felt wonderful. The view from the balcony was stunning, adding a nice touch to an already clean and comfortable stay. Nothing really detracted from the experience.
