The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the place itself is beautiful, yet the price matches a luxury resort in Monaco, which feels off. The overall vibe feels stingy, as if the hotel is trying to cut corners, especially when the staff are indifferent, rarely smile, and make you feel unwanted. We felt invisible. The gym is basically a container outside the hotel, with very basic, impractical equipment that’s disappointing. Breakfast quality is good but the selection is limited and doesn’t match the price or the hotel’s name. We could have been a bit disappointed but still left with a good feeling; however, the next issue left us sour and upset. We booked a two‑night deal that included dinner. A few days before, we canceled the second night’s dinner, and in the morning we asked for a refund (the restaurant’s secretary had canceled many days in advance so the hotel wouldn’t lose anything). They said it was fine, but at check‑out they refused to refund, claiming “the check‑in is already done,” even though we didn’t eat or order the dinner we paid for. Every attempt to resolve this logically hit a wall. The front desk simply wouldn’t listen, showed no sensitivity, and kept repeating, “that’s the policy, no refunds after check‑in.” It’s a shame a hotel that brands itself as a top Israeli property would be so rigid over a few hundred shekels with guests who paid thousands, leaving them with a sour feeling of being scammed.
