The host was kind, the homestay sat right in the center, and the 6‑bed dorm offered a view of the mountains; I really enjoyed my stay here.

The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic - it's right in the heart of the action, with all the main attractions just a short walk away. I was a bit worried that the noise from the street might be a problem, but it wasn't too bad. Overall, I was really happy with my stay here.

I was expecting a warm stay, but El Hostel was freezing cold. The lack of heating was a major issue, and I ended up checking out early. Thankfully, they refunded my money. It's a shame, because the location was great.

I was really pleased with the friendly owners who waited for us until 11 PM when we arrived late. The location in Sapa is great, and the beds were comfortable. However, the walls are super thin, and we could hear all the street noise outside, making it hard to fall asleep. And getting to the room is a bit of a challenge with a steep staircase that's tough to navigate with all your luggage.
