The location was nice, and when my charger broke they quickly found one for me, which was a relief. I arrived at 12:30, and even though the room was empty, they started cleaning; I told them I’d leave early and asked to skip the 2‑hour wait, but they ignored me and let me in anyway. I mentioned I’d leave early and skip breakfast, yet they charged me every cent. At one point the power went out—“there’s no electricity in the city”—but when I stepped outside, everything was lit.
“A Paradise in Khiva”
A beautiful hotel with lovely decor; the rooms are clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The owner and his wife are wonderful people, and the breakfast is very generous—the best I’ve had in Uzbekistan. The location is perfect. Everything is good.
It was close to the main historical sites, but the bottled water was lacking.
“立地良し”
Being inside Ichankara made it extremely handy for sightseeing and I could drink bottled water whenever I wanted, though the water pressure from the shower left something to be desired.
“Great place to stay”
We really enjoyed our three-night stay. The hotel is perfectly located in the old city, with all major sites barely a 5-minute walk away. The hosts were extremely kind and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. The air conditioning is a bit weak during warmer hours, and the shower water pressure is on the lighter side. Neither ruined our stay, but worth noting for future guests
