The accommodation was small and pleasant, but it was very basic; the owner was friendly but hard to reach by phone and didn’t speak any English. The beds were extremely soft and needed replacing, and the bathroom also needed modernisation.

The large lounge‑kitchen, bathtub, and the owner’s welcome were great, and the Wi‑Fi was essential since there’s no network in the village. However, the soundproofing was a bit thin, especially with noisy neighbors, and we could still hear outside traffic.

The quietness and the owners’ kindness were lovely, but the stag’s roar when we returned around 22:00 to the apartment was intense and magical.
