“Fantastisch!”
Everything! The location, the quiet, the room, the garden, the heated pool, the breakfast, but especially the attentive hostess!

The setting feels timeless yet comfortably modern, with a bucolic vibe and a heated pool surrounded by an idyllic landscape. The host’s warm welcome and helpful tips were spot on, and the bedding was top quality; breakfast served in a lounge made us feel like we were in a manor. The only slight downside was the lack of a dedicated reading spot—perhaps a lounge or library for gloomy days—but the weather stayed bright so it didn’t bother us.

Everything at the property—our hosts, the breakfast, and every other detail—was first class. I would highly recommend it.

The Manoir is run beautifully by the owners and the small Yorkshire Berlioz. The welcome was wonderful and Ysabelle was a perfect hostess—kind and helpful—who even shared jam from her fig tree. Our little dog was also received with courtesy. The Manoir’s pool is a tiny gem, and the garden is a true paradise on earth, with lavender, rosemary, flowers, huge hydrangea shrubs, and shaded trees that made our stay flawless. The top‑floor room was a French‑design treasure, and the high‑quality bath products made us feel pampered. We also appreciated Ysabelle’s restaurant recommendations, which she booked for us. There is nothing to improve; it’s the perfect spot for a vacation in the heart of the Périgord.

Ysabelle and her husband were exceptionally kind. The place’s beauty, the tranquility, and the simply outstanding breakfasts made the visit unforgettable. Absolutely nothing to complain about—everything was perfect.
