“Dated house, which is not maintained well.”

The response to my inquiry was quick, but they added a parking fee even though no parking restrictions were visible outside the property. The house was old and dated, floorboards creaked, the shower and toilets were old and poorly maintained. The garden was unusable because the fences were down; one neighbour kept animals, the other had a sewage leak, so kids couldn’t be left alone there. The conservatory had a dining table but no heating, making it unusable. I paid for the whole house, yet some rooms seemed inaccessible. I paid for a late check‑in, but when I arrived the check‑in person wasn’t there, so I had to wait while they came in a car with tired kids. The check‑in and parking fees were not listed at booking.

It’s only a 10‑minute walk to the tram station, the owners communicated well, and the rooms were comfortable with a well‑equipped kitchen, but the stairs were noisy.

“Great stay for a big group”

The house was spotless and warm when I arrived, with the heating already on. There was plenty of room and the bathrooms were abundant, which was great if you’re hosting a few guests. The overall experience was good, though parking was paid; there were many free spots nearby. I wish the whole house had been available as advertised, since some rooms were closed off.

They maintained excellent communication and answered any questions promptly. The area was quiet, and free parking was just seconds away even if you had more than one car. The property is perfect for short stays, with plenty of beds and no electrical issues—something that can happen elsewhere. I would definitely stay again.
