How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The location is nice, just outside Elspeet on a horse farm and close to heathland, and it was pleasant to sleep there because the bed was good and clean, and the rest was also clean, thankfully. The only downside was that there was no window glazing, the bathroom was a bit musty—probably because of the time of year—and there was no good exhaust for the stove if you want to cook.

After a long city break, a bit of countryside relaxation was exactly what I needed. Located in the Gheldria region, an unusual spot in the Netherlands because of its “scarcity” of water, staying at Mijn Buitenhuis let me explore a part of the country that isn’t widely known but is definitely worth seeing. The two‑storey apartment, created by renovating a neighboring farmhouse/garage, has a rustic décor, a fully equipped kitchen, and offers complete quiet.

The hosts are very friendly and accommodating! The accommodation is well‑made and lovingly furnished. All in all, a fantastic place with great hosts.

Cozy yet spacious enough. You don’t need more. The peace and the horses are wonderful. Nothing to complain about.

Mijn Buitenhuis is a wonderful place to stay. The cottage is equipped with all the comforts and we slept wonderfully, thanks to the good beds and the peaceful surroundings. No issues.
