I booked for two nights but only stayed one; the bed had bedbugs and there was vermin in the kitchen. The room light was a motion sensor that went off at 2 am, and dealing with operator Emilia was a complete nightmare. The location was good and onsite residents were helpful, but I wouldn’t recommend this place.

The owner was really helpful and let me crash on the couch after I hurt my hand, which saved me a lot of trouble. Unfortunately, there was a persistent unpleasant odor that lingered throughout the place. All in all, the kindness outweighed the smell, but it was still noticeable.

I’d steer clear of this hostel. I showed up late at night to find no reception—just an open door—and the only person there was an older guy smoking and drinking, with another drunk smoker inside, which made me feel uneasy right away. The “room” was basically an unfolded couch with filthy sheets full of sand and hair, and I started itching as soon as I lay down.
