After five years in Saigon, this is my third stay at the homestay and one of my top escapes in the country. It’s a short ride outside town, tucked in a peaceful rural setting beside a beautiful rice field and a towering karst at the far end. It’s far enough from tourist crowds yet still close to everything worth seeing. The rooms are spotless and cozy, and the view is the best in town. The hosts, Chinh and Ha, are incredibly kind and welcoming, ready to arrange anything from motorbikes to tours, and they cook amazing local food—especially the best grilled chicken and sticky rice in Phong Nha. They’re the best, and I can’t recommend staying here enough. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
