A fun place. Enjoyed the bird boxes and liked the books and games. It would have been better to have two extra chairs with backrests. The mattress on the loft was too hard.

If you’re heading to the Sølen mountains, this is an obvious choice. The living room view opens over the treetops toward the mountains at sunset. The hosts in this off‑grid treehouse provided plenty of supplies: drinking water, firewood, a power bank, a gas stove, a fridge, bed linen, and even binoculars for bird watching, so we didn’t have to lug extra gear up the trail and steps. The light in the outdoor toilet was barely enough.

The surroundings were absolutely stunning, with the cabin blending seamlessly into the natural landscape. I'd never stayed in anything like it before, and it was a real treat to wake up to the sounds of nature every morning. The standard was high, and I was impressed by the attention to detail that had gone into creating this little slice of heaven.
