The spot worked for me because I had a work function at KZNSA, but the place felt more functional than welcoming, and the room was almost empty—no teaspoon for tea. The scrambled egg at breakfast was stone cold.

The location was great, and the staff were professional and friendly, but the bed sheets and covers were old and of poor quality.

The food and service were good, yet the bathroom in the Garden Room Conference Centre emitted a very disturbing smell. Even after I asked the cleaning lady to come, the odor persisted on both days. The bathrooms needed doormats, and our room was still dirty when we entered after the rain. We also needed fresh toilet paper and towels daily—please remember this.

I liked the breakfast and have visited the place many times for work; my husband was admitted at Ntabeni Hospital, so this was the most trustworthy spot near the hospital. The environment and distance from city noise were drawbacks.
