The staff were friendly, the spot was good, and dogs were allowed, yet the lighting was very dim, the lodge felt a bit old‑fashioned, the hot tubs were grimy after the first use, and the bath panel was broken.

Nice cozy cottage, clean, quiet. No freezer, the 1 frying pan was terrible, food got stuck to it, maybe update to non stick pans. All other cottages had fairy lights round the front and hot tub which made it look more relaxing when in hot tub, lodge 5 did not have this

The lodge was lovely and clean when we arrived, and we really enjoyed our stay; we’ll definitely come back.

Everything was perfect.

We hit a snag right from the start: a broken socket, broken glasses, broken plates, heating problems in some rooms, and the worst was the toilet. We couldn’t access the hot tub until Saturday night 😞 Also, the fridge was dead when we arrived.
