“Evocative and very comfortable”
A lovely, evocative historical artifact, wonderfully located and sensitively converted into hotel accommodation. One can easily imagine the Persian Consul, who originally built the place, relaxing with his retinue, taking.the waters and strolling through the adjacent Central Park. Understated, comfortable rooms and wide verandahs on which to sit, perhaps enjoy a drink and contemplate a very different era. Breakfast was varied and tasty, complemented by the Persian mirror-work to the ceiling. The spa facilities, though small, are a nice treat in this historic spa town. Although pleasant, the spa facilities could do with some maintenance
