The staff service and location were excellent, and the building’s historic feel left an impression. Our room’s window wouldn’t open, so fresh air was impossible, and the bed was visible from the opposite room, so we had to keep the curtains closed whenever we lay down, which was disappointing.

Great spot in the old town, close to the river and the main districts. The apartments are stylishly furnished, the service is good and the staff friendly. Some little things in the apartment are a bit worn: the fridge didn’t seal properly, the shower paint was peeling, and we brought our dog. The 10 kg dog policy isn’t mentioned on the booking site, and the extra 65 EUR charge is also not listed – but the hotel does provide a pillow and food packs for the pet. They advertise “parking”, yet the parking garage is about 500 m away and costs extra, and you can’t unload directly in front of the apartment.

The breakfast was great, but parking was a hassle. When I arrived the room wasn’t what I had booked, so they sent me to apartments 100 m away. In the end they transferred me to where I wanted at no extra cost.

The spot in Porto is fantastic, the décor is gorgeous, the staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was lovely, and it’s a great place to stay.
