Closer to the city centre. The third bed was a sofa and not very comfortable. The host didn’t answer the calls.

Hotel Lilienhof sits in Hamburg’s center, just two minutes’ walk from the Hauptbahnhof and the Alster lake. Guest rooms feature safes, cable TV, wash basins and showers, with shared hallway bathrooms. A bakery across the street serves a rich breakfast. Mönckebergstraße shopping, the historic Altstadt, and Hauptbahnhof Nord underground station lie within ten minutes.

All furniture and sinks are broken and everything smells unpleasant. Just don’t book. Everything else except the location.

Nothing good, everything is dirty!!

The receptionist was friendly and the location works, but I had to stand outside the door while the cleaning lady talked on her phone inside, the front door was a mess, and she left the sink filthy. The bed was uncomfortable and I slept on a slanted mattress; the TV didn't work and I had no clue Wi‑Fi was available.

Clean, central. Bed is okay to good. Shower with toilet and an extra toilet on the floor. The reviews for the place were bad but Hamburg was fully booked, so I was pleasantly surprised. If you don't care about a TV in the room (I don't need one) and can live with a “work in progress” (like a still‑unassembled, taped‑over, unusable sink in the room), you can sleep pretty well there.
