“Magical place!”
A magical mountain escape with thoughtful touches What we liked: The setting is truly special—surrounded by nature, high on the mountain, with beautiful views towards Serra da Estrela. Watching both the sunrise and sunset was magical. The peace and quiet, plenty of walking trails nearby, and a safe place to park made it an ideal spot to relax. Staying in a windmill was a lovely experience. Although the space is compact, it was comfortable, with a cosy bed and an excellent shower—the water pressure was impressively strong and the water lovely and hot. The fridge was fully stocked, and the fresh, sliced fruit was such a thoughtful touch. Fresh bread and croissants delivered at 7:30 each morning made breakfast even more enjoyable. Check-in and access to the accommodation were very easy. A wonderful stay, and somewhere we would happily return to. What we didn’t like: Nothing—we loved our stay!
