The hotel looked inviting from the outside and parking was excellent. The welcome was professional and warm, the bar where we checked in was charming and busy. Our room was lovely, cosy, and pretty, with everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable that I had the best night’s sleep in a long time. Our evening meal was really, really good and the staff were friendly. Breakfast the next morning, except for the coffee, was faultless. We will definitely return and cannot recommend the hotel highly enough. The coffee at breakfast and the fresh fruit mix could have been better, but those were minor points.
