“Peaceful and picturesque few days away from it all.”
We spent a lovely couple of days at Dun Ard and Joe was a fantastic host who gave us a warm welcome and plenty of useful information. The room offered a fantastic view, was very modern and comfortable, and the bathroom was exceptional. The house sits in a very quiet and peaceful spot, but a ten‑minute drive takes you into the charming town of Dungarvan; there’s also a regular bus if you don’t drive. A great little pub over the road serves a few basic but good pizzas and a lovely pint of Guinness. A 20‑minute walk brings you to a picturesque port with another pub/restaurant, though we didn’t try it. Highly recommended room and host! :-)
