The room had mold. The mattress, mold, and lack of lighting were all bad.

The motel should have closed long ago; the linens were moth‑eaten, the pillowcases smelled awful, the breakfast was terrible, the TV didn’t work, and the door was completely broken. I disliked everything, and the picture didn’t match reality.
